We have designed many specialized tools and patterns to expedite the custom fabrication of our products, enabling us to give our clients fast turn-around times on most chest and wood products orders. DeMajo Organ Works was recently contacted by a church in a neighboring state after their expensive German organ blower motor burned out, and they were told by their present maintenance contractor that they would be required to purchase a new $3,000 blower. The original motor was no longer available. The technicians at DeMajo Organ Works were able to locate a suitable pump motor, however, the shaft length needed to be extended. Our machinist was able to extend the shaft and balance the blower and motor locally, which saved both time and money. A bonus is that the new motor is more energy efficient than the original motor, and it has slightly more reserve power capacity. The blower was returned to service within three days of its arrival at our shop, and it now operates cooler and is extremely quiet thanks to our ability to perform in shop computer balancing of the motor and fan rotor. The best part is that the cost to the customer was less than 1 / 3 of the original repair estimate for a replacement blower.

Because our repair philosophy is deeply rooted in good mechanical engineering and construction practice, as well as musical excellence, we are often able to develop cost saving methods of repair that other shops may not have the equipment or expertise to accomplish.
